The Luther Place Parish Hall is a center for social services in the Thomas/Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington DC. Built in the Collegiate Gothic style in the 1950s, the building abuts the historic Memorial Church on Thomas Circle. Our updates include reorienting the flow of public space on the ground floor to create a more iconic, legible entrance that signals the Parish Hall's function as a community anchor. Each floor in the five-story structure will be updated to serve its public function, including multi-purpose spaces, offices for non-profits, and a hostel.
